Need the name to a video game

"Older" I think. It's a computer game involving a guy who is blamed for the murder of his girlfriend and he goes around town to clear his name. But his girlfriend was actually killed in this weird alternate dimension thing. It is the second game in the series and its called dark something or other I think. It is sort of cheesy and the graphics are an older streets of rage pixel y kind of thing.
