I really need some help, can you help me?

OK I'm not going to bore you with a really long post, but I will start off by saying that I'm here for help, not criticism. If you have something negative to say, I can't stop you from saying it, its your opinion and you are entitled to it. It would just be appreciated it were left unsaid. So on to my problem.....
Anyone ever heard of Hit and Run OCD?? Its the fear of hitting someone or something while driving. I believe I have it. Lately I've been freaking out about it. I'm always thinking that I've hit someone. Every bump, or pothole scares the crap out of me. I have to turn around and check just to make sure it wasn't a person. If I hear ambulances, well any kind of siren I freak out. Its driving me crazy. I can't stand anymore. I read somewhere that OCD knows no age limit and that is true. I've been driving since I was 16 and I'm 24 now and this all started when I moved back to this city I despise. I just want to know that I'm not alone, if there are other people who have experienced this, and some ideas on how to cope with this. Thanks

that was a long post...I recommend talking with your doctor to see if you can get on some type of medication it might take the edge off so you can in peace
