Opinions/Details on 2008 Dodge Avenger?

I have been looking for a car to buy and found a 2008 Dodge Avenger. It has been in a fender bender, but has been repaired sense then. It is black and the A/C needs to be replaced. But I was wondering what type of mpg this car typically gets, if there are common problems found with this type of car, if it is a relatively safe car. Please respond anything you may know about this car below! Thanks!!
