Effect of green tea on blood

I have heard a lot of people saying the experiments done with green tea killing cancer cells are in done dishes in lab and not in human. And that most of the antioxidants gets removed by the liver before they even get to the blood stream. My question is that is it possible to soak a bag of green tea since its water soluble into saline water(0.9% sodium chloride) for iv administration and what will be the hematological reactions. The logical assumption is that most the ECG and antioxidants gets into blood. and I am a cancer patient done with three chemo cycles already.

Polyphones as well as Flavonoids are very helpful in building the immunity of a body as they are the agents that help in boosting the immunity. Vitamin C is also present in the Chinese Green tea that is helpful is keeping the flu away from the body of a person.
