How do I get sound on my monitor with for my Ps4

Just got a Ps4 notice that my monitor has a DVI and VGA port so I got a DVI to HDMI cable plugged it in picture shows fine but I have no audio so I thought I could use this RCA cable plugging it from the monitor (label Audio in) to my radio no sound still. The monitor is a HP w1907 . is there something else I need or is this just not going to work?
