How fast does it take for a bank to answer you about a personal loan application

I just applied for a personal loan of 7,000. Just catch up on slight debt and get the car fixed.
My credit is a B and the banker said that is really good for my age (I am 20) However, my DTI is high. (which is why I need the loan. Ugh)

The banker said I do have a chance of getting the loan, however; I may not get the total amount. She processed it for me none the less and told me she was going to call as soon as she heard something.

She called me approx. 4hrs. later,
So my question is --

When is the approx, normal time for a bank to contact you after applying for a small personal loan?

Is it promising when a bank calls you back so soon about a loan?

Hi, after filing your personal loan on a bank they will check your capability to pay and how your status going on and after that the management will let you know if your loan is approved or else they wont approved it. Its better to check the bank if the loan applying is already on the process.
