hi.....More than two-thirds of all Americans over the age of 35 show some sign of gum disease. According to The New England Journal of Medicine, not only does gum disease signify a problem in your mouth, it may be a contributing factor in heart disease. Curing gum disease depends upon careful treatment and maintenance of the tissue pockets between your teeth. While there are some home care treatments, if the condition progresses into full-blown periodontitis, intervention by a qualified dental professional is in order.

Yes, A professional Dentist is enough for gum infection treatment. There are many treatments are available for gum disease suffering patients, which varies depending on the severity of the condition. Because, Gums are generally pink color which are the supportive and fibrous tissues that are formed at the base of our teeth. Redness in gum, swelling, constant bad breath, toothaches, tender and bleeding gums are the symptoms of gum infection. Dentists are not enough for the gum infection treatment. If you have sensation problem in your teeth, you should try Sensodyne Gel Toothpaste. It comes in a cool blue gel, refreshing taste that leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean. I will recommend Sensodyne Expert Toothbrush that has been designed for people with sensitive teeth. It is scientifically crafted with Cross active bristles which provide effective cleaning of the teeth.

The dentist can help, so consult with an experienced periodontist for gum treatment
Gum diseases are characterized as swollen, inflamed and bleeding gums which starts as gingivitis and progresses into periodontitis leading to the destruction of the bone surrounding the tissue.
