Subnetting an address space to two equal networks

I would like a solution for this question:

Use the address space 10.10.16.0/24 and split this address space into two equal sized networks by subnetting it again.

I am confused on how to do it. Can someone help me please? Thanks

The total address space is 10.10.16.0 to 10.10.16.255

Two equal sub-nets will be:

10.10.16.0/25 and 10.10.16.128/25

The addresses for usable hosts on these sub-nets are:

10.10.16.1 to 10.10.16.126 and 10.10.16.129 to 10.10.16.254

The sub-net mask for both sub-nets is 255.255.255.128.
