Mental health questions

I'm interested in pursuing a career in mental health within the state of CA. I have an established dual diagnosis; Bipolar 1, and alcoholism. I've been sober for 2 years, and was 5150'd due to it, along with depression at that time. I'm also very stable as long as I take my meds. Does my past threaten my ability to obtain licensure as a Social Worker, Psychologist, etc? Thanks in advance.
