Parents don't approve of my relationship.?

I'm an 18 year old girl dating a 24 year old gang member.
We've known eachother since we were kids, been dating for 3 years now and my parents still don't approve of my relationship... I'm completely in love with him
They said people like him don't accomplish anything in life, he's a disgrace to our country etc.
and before you ask,no I'm not afraid to live with a gang member
I already spend most of my days with him and the other guys.
And he lives across the street from my house.
He's asked me to move in with him but I'm afraid my parents won't talk to me ever again. Any advice?:/

Your agents should support you through everything you do. Yah he may be a bit old but it's not like he's 50! He's obviously someone you like and have a lot of love for. Maybe you should stay home for a while and see if you stay with him. If yu know that you will, then go with him, explain to your parents that you love him and want to send the rest of your life with him..

It all depends on you. How do you want your life to be? Do you want drama, crime, poverty, jail, police, fights?

Or do you want peace, calm, hard work, pride in what you do, helping others instead of hurting them, family?

Look into the crystal ball. You can see your future. The decisions you make effect the rest of your life.

If you like trouble and aggression and problems, then stick with him. But if you want your family, peace, and all that, then you should find some new people to be around.

They say, "tell me the type of people you hang around with, and I'll tell you the type of person you are", because the people we hang around are the people we become.

Is that the person you want to become?

Like I said, it's all in what you want. Think, and think hard about it, because we are only allowed so many mistakes in our lives before they are unfixable. The trick is to make the least amount of mistakes as possible. And you will be better off.
