How should I start my comparison/contrast essay on dogs and cats?

I'm writing about the differences and similarities on dogs and cats in a comparison/contrast essay.

I'd like to make the essay fun and interesting, but I'm not sure how to start it off and what to write in the introduction.

I don't want it to be the boring essay that basically states exactly what will be talked about but maybe add a small story or scenario.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you much.

Essay has three important parts-Introduction,Body of an essay and Conclusion. Introduction must give a brief idea about the topic. Here the topic is differences and the similarities of the dogs and cats. therefore your essay introduction part should contain brief description about the dog and cat. Body of an Essay is written in paragraphs. Here the topic needs to be discussed, argued and questioned. The differences of the dog and cat should be a paragraph and the similarity of the cat and dog should be in another paragraph. every point need to be discussed in depth in the body of an essay. Finally the Conclusion part where the topic is being summarized. To know well about the essay writing visit the following link. It would be helpful to prepare a good essay.
