The agitator on my Roper washer will not turn and gets hot

Asked Aug 05, 2013
The Roper web site says it is a direct drive unit with no pulleys. Make sure that there isn't something like a rag stuck under the agitator that has it frozen so it won't move.

I can't get the support link on the Roper web site to work and they have no contact link on the site. They are owned by Whirlpool. If you don't have a contact number with the paperwork that came with the washer, I would go to the Whirlpool site and contact them.
