Does Las Vegas have power over the Las Vegas strip?

In case most don't know, the Las Vegas Strip is in Paradise, Nevada. Not technically Las Vegas. Paradise, Nevada is an census-designated city, so they have no mayor or city council. So does this mean the city of Las Vegas has power over the Paradise ? Or just the Strip ? If so, where else does Las Vegas have power ?

Paradise Nevada is an unincorporated town that is operated by Clark County, the same county where the City of Las Vegas is located. "Unincorporated" towns are essentially areas of a county that the locals identify by a name but all of the governmental functions are conducted by the county the same as areas with no such local label.
