I was hit by a car in a cross walk.is it worth it to sue?

my friend and I were walking legally across a cross walk when a speeding guy hit us both at about 40 mph...i hit the windshield, flew 6 feet and rolled (or so im told, I was unconscious), and my friend fractured her leg. I got a concussion adn my arm is in a sling for swelling. I am also missing about 2 and a half weeks of work. the driver is only getting 4 points off his license and an negligent driving with bodily injury charge. I am not sure what is insurance is, or how much his insurance will offer as settlement. is it worth it to sue?

Yes, if it cost you money and the driver was at fault, see a personal injury lawyer.

Most of them will talk to you for free, and won't charge unless they get money for you.
