I want to get thin, but, I don't know how.

I am ten years old and 140 lbs, I am also a girl if that helps. Anyhow, I need some advice.

Play sports! Even if you aren't any good it's a good way to make friends and get exercise. Stop with soda. Technically you can't gain a lot from just drinking it but it makes you tired and less active which will not help your weight! Try not to gain anymore by watching how much you eat! Portion control is everything. 140 is high for a ten year old girl but not necessarily for a 16 year old girl (deeming on your height). Try to at least keep your weight from going up and you will eventually grow into the weight you are now! Eat on dark colored plates with bigger forks, there have been studies done saying this will help you eat less. Put everything you plan o eat on your plate the first time you fill it. No second helpings! This will help with portion control! Bush your tongue when you brush your teeth! This will help you crave salty food less often! Also, when you work out, make it fun! Like a game of basketball or catch with a friend! If you enjoy it you'll do it more often!

For suggestion, I tried the apknite app My Diet Coach – Weight Loss Motivation & Tracker. It works fine. Anyway, this needs a lot of efforts too.
