Could you get in trouble for using a random credit card # with your address and zip for a free tria?

I used a random credit card # a random pin an due date, with my address and my name could I get in trouble? This was for a free trial an wanted to test it I deleted the payment method after that nothing was bought?

If it was done as a test on how to use a card and nothing was bought, you have nothing to worry about. If you could buy anything with a random card number, random pin and random date, the banks would be broke by now.

If you buy real card numbers from stolen identities, that is a serious crime that could result in doing prison time.
