Formatting a drive without losing content in another drive with no cd for reinstalling windows?

I have a Sony vaio e series vpceh18fg which operates on windows 7 and I had just one drive ie the c drive until recently when I created a new partition and created e drive and placed all my stuff in e drive. And I don't have any cd for reinstalling windows. can I now format c drive without losing any data in e drive ...? What should I do to format my c drive without uninstalling windows ???

If you format any drive you will lose ALL of the data on that drive including system files and programs. If you are having a problem with the C Drive, System Restore works well on Win 7. I would advise using that option.
