Why is my guy friend is acting mad at me?

I was at my youth group with him and my 2 other girl friends. At first it was normal we were just hanging out but he was acting kinda strange, he hugged me like very chance he got and tried holding my hand and stuff. Then when we started playing capture the flag my other two friends were like he likes you and then totally ditched us and ran away. I don't think he heard them but after that If I tried talking to him he ignored me. I asked why he was mad at me and he said he wasn't and then hugged me. But right after he hugged me he walked away and ignored me and wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the time. I'm fourteen and I don't think he likes me cause e already told me he likes another girl. Help please!

hmm . in my opinion , he does like you . he hugged you with every chance he got cuz maybe he's afraid to lose you or something . I guess he just wants you to know that he's there for you and yeah . but darling , do you like him back ? that's the question . :) if he told you that he likes another girl , then maybe that other girl is you . he just doesn't want to tell you yet . but you might not know it's you darling . big chances there are . :) but my question for you is , do you have feelings for him ? :)
