How can I solve the " a network cable is unplugged " error im my xp laptop?

i conncet to the internet using the router but I cant connect to internet it alawys telling me that the network cable is unplugged ?! why !

For some reason it is not making any connection with the router. "A network cable is unplugged " is a message from the wired Ethernet system and you clicked "wireless" for this question. If that is correct, you either need to connect a cable between the laptop and the router or set up a wireless system via Start/Control Panel/Network Connections/Add Wireless Connection
