How can I forget the first guy I ever fell in love with?

We have been dating for over 10 months. I thought everything was okay but he told me this... That he still loves me a lot and might always will but he can't be in a committed relationship right now he is not mentally stable to be in one. he was my first real boyfriend and I lost my virginity to him. I'm positive that this is over. This is the 6 times that he had broken up with me. i'm done with him.. So, help me.

I'll be frank, I've heard it's nearly impossible to forget your first love, especially if he's so close that you lost your virginity to him. However, there are things you could do to keep him out of your mind. Go travel, meet up with friends, do fun things that will keep you occupied. Good luck getting through with this! :)

You'll forget about him in time. It may take a very long time, but you will eventually. In the meantime, keep yourself too busy to think about him.
