Is it possible to memorize what you've read?

I have an exam in just over a day (Thursday morning) and I've got 26 pages of information to go through. I could read them all in the next day, but I don't know if I could instantly memorize them easily. This is Chemistry we're talking about. I think making flash cards is going to take too long. I'm doing a foundation paper so I really only need to know the notes in some detail, but I still need to get them done. I can't think of a good way to do it all quickly. I've only started revising now because I wanted to get the other exams out of the way.

I really need some help.
