I have an std and would like to know what to do?

I took an STD test and found out I have Syphilis and would like to know what to do. My parents don't even know I have lost my Virginity not to mention I have a STD and I want to take care of this without them finding out. Right now all I have are a few sores down there. any advice will be helpful, thanks.

You need to see a doctor right away and get on antibiotics. Don't make the mistake of believing that when the sores go away you are cured. It is normal for them to disappear in a while.

After you have completed the medicine, make sure you are retested to insure it is gone. Syphilis can lie dormant in your body for many years then return with disastrous results like blindness or damage to your brain.

If you need the parents to do the above, then tell them. You are in a very serious situation.
