If it's your first time, you may still shed some blood. This is because you may be nervous and uptight during the process. The size of the penis also has an effect : the bigger it is, the more strain it puts on the vagina walls. It also depends on how much your vagina has been stretched out. As in, for example, whether you masturbate or not. I suppose it's a good idea that you guys started with fingering, the slower you take it, the better.
