Not getting in w/my username & somethings happened w/my password. Do I need to set up a new account?

My Facebook account isn't disabled but there's been a change with the password. My main email account if the same username as on Facebook, it is a different password though. How do I get back or change that password without messing up my main email password. Is this possible. Anita Ettel
