Why is it updating avir antivirus takes too long?

Good morning!
I would like to ask regards on my antivirus updates, I am currently updatng my newly installed avira antivirus free edition and I am wondering why is it taking too long. Under remaining bytes, it is already 0 but under transmitting, it is still running and already in 200000 bytes.
Thank you and have a nice day!

It could be that their server is overloaded. But I strongly suggest to change your antivirus to Avast (you can register it for free for 1 year period).

I am satisfied with redsquare, there may be a problem with your protection program so you just download any other such as quick heal, immunet free antivirus, kaspersky etc and keep it updated periodically.

It could be the problem of the server. If you are looking for free stuff, then you must get Avast because it has small, regular updates. If you are comfortable with paid antivirus services, then you can also avail the antivirus protection services of AskPCExperts. As their experts provide effective services at reasonable price.

You just uninstall this virus and download Microsoft Security Essential Antivirus this will surely help you to protect your PC from viruses.

First restart your laptop so that the antivirus will work properly. Otherwise, your Laptop may be hanged or face many problems.

If your problem not solved, then goes through online service center like “Sisytek.com”. I hope your problem will be solved. Thanks.

Don't install any antivirus just because they are free. I've made a thorough comparison between many brands and I've found that Comodo Antivirus to be a power-packed AV suite. It doesn't let you down like AVira or Norton does.
