I don't have specific information about that model but most units like that use the cold air from the freezer compartment to cool the refrigerator. There should be a duct between them with a small fan inside. If the above is true in your case check the following.
1) The opening between them is blocked either by ice or a package in the freezer or a package in the refrigerator. If the freezer opening is iced, the automatic defroster could be defective. If it doesn't have an automatic defroster, it may be blocked with ice.
2) The fan is either defective or frozen.
3) The refrigerator's thermostat is set too low or not operating.
Thanks for replying but the freezer compartment only has a door and no vents .
I tried to get more information from the Electrolux web site but it says that "er6334u" is "not a valid model number."

thanks for looking ive just checked the model number again and it is correct ER6334U,ive had a look at the fridge again and dont no if this will help but the freezer temp just slightly below zero and the fridge temp around 11 .The gas cylinder on the back is quite warm when its running and the fan is on constant ,hope this will shed some light ,,is it possible theres a gas leak...
hello ive checked the model number again and it is correct its about 4/5 years old ..if it helps the gas cylinder on the back is quite warm and the fan runs continuos . the freezer temp is around zero aswell
If the gas is low, it wouldn't cool as well, the thermostat would continue to call for more cooling so it would run a lot more. Send Electrolux an email at the link below with your model number and see if that can offer any help.
