Getting your tonsils removed?

my friend said that if you don't get your tonsils remove when your young you will have breathing problems when your older and then you will need a breather, is that true?

No!!!!!

No. I've had my tonsils removed but it was because I was getting ear infections and there were really big. For reasons like these your doctor would suggest you get your tonsils removed. But even then your doctor(s) would talk to you and parent or guardian for a long time.
