Is it weird to go to the cinema alone?

None of my friends want to go, or the one's that would consider going are at work or college during the viewing times. I have thought about just going on my own and it would be during the day (1-4), but I would be embarrassed if anyone I knew saw me alone. Would you care if you saw some random guy alone whilst watching a movie? I am a 17 year old guy by the way, Thanks. :)

I've always been comfortable going to any film or restaurant alone. Be comfortable in your own skin and go see whatever you like. :-) The older you get, the less you'll care about what other people think of you.

It depends what kind of movie it is, romance yeah don't go by yourself but action you would be all right.

I agree with Thehelper101 that a romance movie might be akward, but any other genre would be fine. Not many people pay attention to other people. Just go enjoy your movie :D
