Book with special dates recorded is called?

My sister-in-law had a book that set on a table year round, it had all the months of the year and the dates. There were no weekdays or years in the book. She used the book to record birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. This is how she would remember to send cards or gifts.
I want to buy one but I do not know what it is called.
