I am completely clueless regarding archery, but my 20 year old girlfriend has expressed her interest in picking up the sport (for target shooting, not hunting). For her birthday, I would like to surprise her with a new bow & arrow kit. She is 5'8 and about 140 pounds. Seeing as she would only use it for target shooting and I cannot be sure that she'll really pick up the sport, I am looking to get her something that is affordable. However, I would like for her to have something reliable and that will not give us a hard time after a few months use. Any recommendations for a bow that wont exceed 300 dollars?
