He has a rape fantasy. Should I be worried?

I have known this guy for a long time. We have been intimate before, he is dominant but gentle, has never hurt me in any way. He says he loves me and we have a pretty normal relationship. However, he often says stuff like " I was so turned on, I almost raped you last night" or "i have a few beers in me and I feel like raping you." I find it a little weird, but also a little sexy. He also mentions that he likes to cover my mouth during sex and stuff. I don't know what to think about this. Is he just expressing his desire for me and it's pretty harmless? Or do you think this is a red flag?

You could try telling him it makes you very uncomfortable. If he doesn't stop, then run. Even if he does, you still know it's in his mind... so that duck is still a duck even if it doesn't quack near you.

i dont think thats a red flag. alot of men now and days have that fantasy and to be honest I tried it whith my girlfriend and it was the best sex of my life. I saw just give it a try and make a safe word before you do it so he can know when to stop if you need to. good luck
