Why is my prescription supposed to last 25 days and my health insurance says I have to wait 30?

I am diabetic. I refilled my test strips for 200 of them and according to my pharmacy that is a 25 day supply. So why does my health insurance say I am unable to refill fpr 30 days??? I am test free for 5 days. That seems wrong.

It does seem wrong. :-( Ask your physician how he/she recommends you make 200 strips last for 30 days. Let your doctor know what issues you're bumping into and ask if there is a brand or quantity that your insurance will cover that will last the entire period.
