Westernunion fraud

I responded to a phone call from a company called "ImpactLoan" instructing me to go to the local Western Union, make a $420.00 deposit to receive a money order for
2300.00. Then they contacted me asking for another $430.00. Finally they put me in touch with an "I.R.S." agent that informed me he needed another 580.00 dollars to bring my credit score up to be able to receive the money in my account.Approximatley $3300.00 dollars. Is there not a provision giving me 36 hours to "back out of such a contract?

Most of these type scams originate in countries where there are either no laws preventing it or the laws are not enforced. You should go to your local law enforcement and give the information to them but don't hold any high expectations of getting your money back.

Almost every case of such scams I've heard of, involve a dishonest scam artist and a victim expecting "something for nothing." This is just one more example of the old adage that, "When it sounds too good to be true," it IS too good to be true. It was your unrealistic expectations that got you into this. Next time post your EHelp question before you send the money and you will get a much more effective answer.
