If I run away at 16, move to a stable home, can the police take me home.?

Im 16. My names Jennifer.
I live in Australia. I want to run away from home, well im thinking about it. If I do run away, my education will be better (privite school) I will be 100% safe. Have a stable home to go to, both emotionally and financlly(if I spelt that right).
I am just wondering, if the police found me. Would they be able to take me back home.. ?

or else the home youre at now treath you very badly they will have too take you back:(try to talk to someone about youre problem at home and maybe you could legally go somewhere else without having to run away:)
