IPod touch

My friend gave me an iPod, and it is stuck on this screen "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes" and when I go to iTunes it says "error". I have tried reseting it, and I went through a terribly long process to try and wipe it): Can someone help me?? D:

It means you have been trying to log in with the wrong password for too long I am not sure about the itunes one but try a local repair or phone an apple expert it work my mum has asked them and hers is totally working.
