Is there a correlation between someones 25 most listened to songs and their mental health?
An ipod keeps track of the top 25 songs that a user listens to. I was wondering if this is ever used as a diagnostic tool in evaluating a persons mental health
There are currently no tests which correlate one's choice in music to their mental health status. Correlation is not always indicative of a relationship between two variables, so it would be difficult to design some kind of test to evaluate if the music someone listens to is indicative of a certain mental health status.
