How can I set up wireless connection on my laptop using other laptop?

My ethernet card is not working, I'd have to buy motherboard, and I can't do that now.So I have a modem and a wireless routher and other lapotop. Is there a way to set up wireless connection on other laptop and transfer it to mine ?

To transfer files between two computers via a router, both computers have to be working. You might be able to remove and connect the hard drive from the defective machine temporarily and install it on the working computer but it will take some tech knowledge.
