Which one should I choose?

i'v been wearing braces for a year and a half and know the four teeth of the front are a little bit forward than the others, and my dentist told me that he was gonna remove two teeth or he was going too let me wear retainers and let it do it's job and I dont know what I should do

I think you should choose the retainers rather than removing two teeth cuz it hurts a lot. But remember, you will have to put them everyday especially at night so that the teeth remain in the right position.
