Can you recommend a web framework that will be popular over the next few years and beyond?

I'm getting better at web programming, but feel I really need to migrate my skills to a web framework as my web projects are becoming 'bigger' (in every context).

(BTW, up until now, I've been using php for my projects -- although I've had experience coding with python. I've also just completed the CodeAcademy ruby tutorial and think it's a lovely language).

Ruby on Rails was a pretty big thing a little while ago, but php is still alive and well with lots of people now using CodeIgniter as a popular choice of web framework.

I would love to hit both frameworks, but my studies consume a lot of my time and it looks like I need to make a decision about which one to choose (and stick with for the next few years).

Which would you recommend I focus on and why?

PS. I've also heard about node.js with frameworks like Meteor. Is this non-blocking thing people are talking about (add erlang) a new wave I should get on, and if so, should I ditch the earlier two for it?

Thanks.
