When will I get my first period?

I am a 12 yr old girl and I have all the symptoms. I have had discharge for 15 months, mood swings for like half a year, hair down there for about a year or more and it is dark and curly. I think I have had breast buds since I was ten almost 11. I think I have had cramps for about 5/6 weeks now. my mum had hers when she was almost 14 but my sister had hers when she was 10. When will I get it?

I'm 13 and still haven't had mine but my friend had hers at 9 so you never know...

I'm 11 and got mine a few months ago. My symptoms were just like yours. I wanted my period but was scared of it. I finally got it and hid it from my mom. I told her eventually. Just wait. My mom had her's when she was 15. Yours will come.

why would you want a period lol?.. anyway my mate didnt start hers until she was 16years old. just depends on when your body is ready, cant make it come any quicker.

you cant make your period come any faster then its time. I got mine when I was 11 but my mom got hers when she was 16. it dependes on your body. plus you really dont want to rush it because its painful when you first start. my first period had me up all night crying and holding my uters. to me your lucky you dont have it yet.

Based on ur symptoms, u have probably already started it. If u think u haven't had it because u haven't been bleeding, not everyone bleeds on their period or experiences pain. If u haven't already, u will get it in 1 month to 2 years from now.

some people are different I know a girl that got her period when she was 20 yours will come just be patient :)

Every girl's body is different and every girl starts their period at different times, some later, some earlier than others. Based on those symptoms, it seems like you might start yours soon. Like others have said, some people have had them at age 9, others at age 20.

I think you're lucky though. Periods really, really, really suck. They're messy and uncomfortable, and I'm sure you, too will miss the days you didn't have to deal with them.
