Damage to the outside of the skull will heal, the question is what's going on inside. If it hasn't been done, you need to have a MRI scan to look for internal damage. If there is none, you will be OK.
I like that analysis, it makes me feel a little less suicidal. Are there side effects to MRI scans and do they cost a lot?
A MRI scans uses a magnetic field, not anything like microwave energy. I've never heard of anybody having side effects from them. The cost would depend on lots of things like where you are and health care insurance. They are normally scheduled by a doctor's office. If you go to a doctor and he/she prescribes a MRI, they should be able to tell you what it will cost. If the cost is prohibitive, they may have other options. Most important, I think you should see a doctor and follow their instructions from there.
Thanks Rob. I was mainly concerned about the EMF or electro magnetic field from the MRI machine. Don't want the solution to become another problem.
