Can you ever forget someone you truly love? Should you?

if you are about to get married but you cant forget the girl you used to date, you really love her and you know she loves you too, can you force yourself to forget her? should you force yourself to forget her?

man never forgets his true loves, just stops feeling for each of them after YEARS. I think you can't force yourself to forget her even if you wanted. just be fair and give your bride everything you should and don't tell her about your previous love, because she will only be sad. and never compare your bride to your previous love.

If you love her and not your wife to be you should not get married and try to get back to the girl you really love.
