My best friend fancys me , I feel awkward

me and my best make ,(were both girls), have been throught a lot together , with crushes and stuff . I always thought that she was into guys , but yesterday she asked me out , I just stood there looking scared.
im only 13 and apparently people experiment with stuff like this at this age . please help

Don't do it yes experimentation is good but not with friends because if the repationship goes bad you'll ruin your friendship
