Replacing egr and modulator valve for 1979 toyota corolla dlx wagon

Hello. I am driving 1979 Toyota Corolla DLX Wagon. The mechanic told me my EGR Valve and Modulator Valve is not working and I need to get a new one. They told me it will cost me over $600, but I am an international student and don't have that money to afford. Thus, I was looking on the internet to search new EGR valve to order and replace it by myself. However, I am having hard time to find one that is original or compatible with my car. I looked up on Advance Auto Parts and finally find some similar parts that may fit to my car, but I am not sure which one could possibly fit. If someone who has experience fixing 1979 Toyota Corolla DLX Wagon and know which EGR Valve is compatible, would you give me an advice? Thank you for reading my long post.

Are you sure the car needs those valves? I don't know that I would trust a guy that wants $600 to replace two valves that cost less than $100. Maybe you need a second opinion. If you do need them, walk into an auto parts store and ask them for a price.
