Do you think patients should have the right to commit suicide?

Within a hospital, many people suffer a terminal illness. There are those who are weary, who are extremely tired from having to go through excruciating pain day by day not knowing when they'll actually have the chance to be "free" from the pain. Do you think those who have terminal illnesses should be given the right to commit suicide?

As long as they are determined to be of sound mind and there is no chance of recovery from the illness, dying with dignity should be a person's right.
