My new glasses are not trendy or even feminen; I can't decide if I like them or want new ones

The frames are thick and rectangular, may be a bit big for my face. They're also heavy, I'm far sighted.. I'm 19 and female. My parents and boyfriend say they look nice. I plan on trying to get used to them but what if I feel the same later on?

If u dont like it tell your mom and boyfriend that you think it doesnt look good and you want to change it

If you don't like them or they're uncomfortable, that's the most important thing - you're the one who's wearing them after all. Do you wear clothes you don't like but other people think you look nice in? Nothing wrong with that but c'mon, be yourself :)
That being said, trendiness or femininity themselves aren't really great judges - there's only 2 things that matter: 1) Do YOU like them? 2) Are they comfortable?

If you decide to go for new frames, ask the folks who work there to show you other frames that your current lenses can fit into.
