Feeding people that are unable to pay should be a responsibility of all of us collectively, not just single out those that are in the food business. That's like asking should a motel have to provide free rooms for the homeless. They are problems for all of society, not just a few.

There are so many people who go to bed hungry. Did you know that the bible spoke of food shortages? Mark 13:8 says: "there will also be food shortages." Worldwide, almost 1 person in 7 does not have enough to eat each day. Famine causes more than 70 million deaths in the 20th century and continues to grow. And continuing food prices force many to choose between food or paying for other necessities. But was this God's purpose? Is there any hope for the future? The bible tells us at Psalms 72:16- "there will be an abundance of grain on the earth. On the top of the mountains it will overflow." The bible promise that food shortages will be done away with. But to find out what we need to do to a part of those times we need to look to the bible. To help you get a better understanding of the bible go to www.jw.org
