Do you ask questions and then get 0 replies?

I have asked about three questions so far and I have many to ask but I am not getting that many replies.

When I try to answer questions, sometimes I have to think about them a little before I can offer something constructive. And sometimes I don't know anything helpful to say.

When I ask, I get thoughtful replies. It seems like a lot of people here are much younger, and haven't had experience with the things I ask about, so that could be happening for you as well.

Plus, I think it's a timing thing too. A question could be asked when the people who could offer helpful input aren't online, and the question could get buried on the list.
