Sorry I haven't been on this website in awhile so I would have asked this sooner but how was the surgery? Are you okay? Did you bring the card with you? I really hope you're okay! :)
srry I haven't had to surgery yet the doctor change the date when I had my next appointment it won't be soon but in 6 month so like till october which is my brithday that really sucks so srry for the wrong info!!!
Surgery is a scary thing, but I promise that it isn't as bad as it seems. Don't let it upset you too much before hand, or it will make the experience A LOT worse than what it actually is. Once they put you under anesthesia you won't even know what's happened. They will probably ask you to count back from 10, *you probably won't make it to 5* and you will be asleep...The deepest sleep you have ever been in! Then POOF! You are awake, and have no idea what even happened. I know because I have been in your shoes. The recovery is the worst part. Physical therapy is annoying and you have to take it easy, NO rough housing! But I PROMISE that it gets better every day. And they will be giving you regulated pain medicine, so if you are worried about pain sweety...don't be. :) Doctors are there to help you, and all you have to do is ask for anything you don't already have. Be strong hon! If not for you then for your family!

im also very skinny but will that affect the surgery in anyway? and plz answer this and thx for your help!!!!!!:):):)
oh and I also already experience therapy so I'm ok with that
I understand why you are scared. When you have your surgery please bring a little card with you (sort of like a get well card) that you can keep on a table nearby. On the outside, I want you to draw a picture of a red heart. I would like it to say "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Psalm 23:4" On the inside. Even if you aren't a Christian please make the card because it will be kind of like it's from me.I will pray for you, and remember that He is with you.

Just relax and let the doctors fix that leaky valve. Don't worry about anything.
