Period on my driving lesson. What should I do?

A question or all the ladies and men if you can help. :)
I have a driving lesson every Thursday and Friday and I'm due on my period this week. My bpdy and hormones don't work in sync with each other so I don't always bleed when I'm on my period if that makes sense, I get everything else though, I get emotional which is bad for me because I struggle to control my emotions, really it might sound stupid but it is really difficult for me not to cry or shout when I've done something wrong. Like I say everything goes into overdrive because I'm releasing too many hormones to try and bleed if you understand what I mean. I get REALLY bad pains too which stop my concentration, I feel sick if not usually vomiting. I what should I do on my driving lesson? One of the worst things is that I have a little bit or a crush, nothing big though, on my instructor, we are really quite close now and he really understands the type of person/learner I am but I can't exactly pull the car over for no apparent reason then when he asks tell him "Oh I've got my period don't worry". No idea what to do, please give me some advice. I can be extremely heavy at times. I don't want to find that I smell bad because I can sometimes smell strongly of blood/iron and would hate to get out of the car only to find that I had come through on to his car. So worried about it. :(

You can go ahead and take something like Midol for the period pains. (I try my best not to take anything pharmaceutical, but if I *have* to, I usually take Aleve.) Get that in your system ahead of time. Be sure you do this with your parents supervision so they can be responsible for what's in your system.

For the rest of it, before the lesson could you wipe up with a cleansing cloth just to clean yourself off. You could change to a fresh tampon and pad before your lesson. You could also get yourself a very dark, thin pillow that you "need" to sit on to be able to see a little better while you're driving. That way, if you do happen to bleed through everything, it'll be on your pillow.
